The most popular herb, which is also called ‘ghritkumari’, it is has been used in Ayurveda since a long time. Mix 4 tablespoons of aloe vera gel with 1 teaspoon honey, 1 teaspoon raw milk, 2-3 drops of rose water and a pinch of turmeric. Blend all the ingredients until it becomes a liquid-like substance. Apply the mixture in places which remains uncovered mostly for about half an hour before washing it off with lukewarm water.
Saffron, or kesar, is widely used as a skin lightening ingredient. Take merely 2-3 strands of saffron, add 2 to 3 drops of olive oil, 1 teaspoon raw milk and 1 teaspoon plain water and make it into a paste. Use a cotton ball to apply the mixture to your skin. Wait for 15 minutes and then wash it with cold water. Repeating this routine 3 or 4 times a week will give you a naturally glowing skin within no time.
