All About Upcoming Movie Baahubali
Halfway through the year and the Box Office is already flooding with interesting and possible blockbuster movies. The first part of the upcoming film Baahubali is set to release on the 10th July, 2015. The two-part epic is written and directed by S.S Rajamouli and produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni. The film is produced in Telugu, Hindi and Tamil, with subtitled versions in Malyalam, English and French. The movie is considered to be the most expensive project undertaken in the history of Indian cinema. Also, it is one of the few films that had the honor of being featured in BBC’s documentary of ‘100 years of Indian Cinema’, directed by Sanjeev Bhaskar. The movie will see a cast of all skilled and intellectual actors and actresses like Prabhas Varma, Rana Daggubatti, Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah in lead roles along with other prominent actors in supporting crucial roles.
Principal photography of the film began in July 2013, at Rock Gardens, Kurnool. The first 20 second teaser of the film was released on 30th May and the trailer was released on YouTube on 1st June. Within two days of its release, the 2 minute trailer got more than two million views. The trailer has captured the hearts of many and people cannot wait for this movie to show in the theatres. Although the trailer is slyly made to refrain from making the plot obvious, the photography, cinematic effects and dramatic music is enough to capture the attention of any audience. From the looks of it, it seems like Baahubali is going to be a grander version of 300, the Spartan war film. The film has been shot with amazing set of equipments which will change the impressions of South made films completely into a more positive one. However, it is rumored to be the story of two brothers who are turned against each other for the control of a kingdom. The fight scenes and the usage of animals for the movie throughout make it slightly different from the movies which have released this year. This movie will take you back in time undoubtedly.
The film will be presented by K. Raghavendra Rao in Telugu and Tamil, while Karan Johar will present the film in Hindi. With a team of National Award winning professionals, the music, art and visual effects of the film are at par with those seen in Hollywood films. The film is being released under the Arka Media Works banner and a couple of videos of the making of the film have been released on its official YouTube channel. A controversy over the title of the film was generated since Baahubali is also the name of an Arihant in the Jain religion. However, producer Shobu Yarlagudda defended the project by announcing that the name has nothing to do with Jainism. After its beginning of shoot in 2013, the movie is finally going to hit the floors in a month and it remains to be the most awaited film of this year.
